P3D Stereo Workers

I am in Digest mode and have lost my sleep, so please excuse 
one more message.

I was thinking of all the people who contribute to stereo
by providing unique products and services.  People like Bob
Brackett (we saw a 3d video of him demonstrating some of
his metal-working equipment in his basement; I had no idea
he hand-builds his projector cases from flat steel!), Ron
Labbe, Jon Golden, Ron Zakowski, Charles Piper, the guy that
makes the slide bars, Joel Alpers, Harry Poster, Dalia
Miller, David Starkman and Susan Pinksy, etc., etc., etc.  

Most of the people that I know are doing what they are doing
for the fun of it, or the love of it, or both.  Profit is
a minor incentive and usually it is to cover their expenses
or allow them to continue offering their services and,
if they are lucky, enjoy a modest living.  Boy, I am glad I 
do what I do to buy film and not food!
