P3D Sears Stereo Card Set

Bob Wier asked if the Sears set is lithographs or photographs.  The set
is lithographs, done in Black & White, and seems to me to be quality type
work as the dots are small and not obtrusive.

Greg Wageman asked if I knew how many of the 10,000 sets were signed.  I
don't have any idea.  I have never seen a signed set, but that doesn't
mean very much.  In the late 1970s some dealer tried to sell a set that
had supposedly been autographed by Mr Sears, the subject of Card No1. 
But, as I recall, the autograph did not come close to matching Mr Sears
signature which used to appear in the Sears catalogs.  The dealer finally
admitted to an attempted scam and I don't believe we have heard of him
since, in stereo circles.
