Hi Everyone:
Thamks for all the public and private answers to my
questions last week.
It's now around 2PM EDT on Saturday and I just took
the Stereo Graphic out of the cabinet after 25-30
years to go out to shoot some pics... WITH DEPTH!...
I don't want to get picked on by any of you
anti-flatshooters.
Here's my problem, and I hope that at least one of
you has one of these cameras and isn't away for the
Labor Day weekend... the camera has a small button on
top, the function of which I can't remember. It is
circular, has milled edges with a line accross the
middle. Stamped into the top of the camera is an R
and an L at 90 degrees to the R. does it mean right
and left? Why? What does it do?
I've found that I can rewind the film if I press on
the button, so it must do double duty, that is, for
rewinding and ???
I enjoy reading the digests and have finally caught
up to the last one sent on Friday afternoon... boy are
you folks verbose! I'll try to add my verbosity
in the future.
I'd also welcome any ideas and/or thoughts about how to
show you my stereo pics on my WEB site for your
critiques, if you have the time for them. I have a
nice little Nikon 35mm scanner so that part is easy.
I need to know what size to make the pics... how do
others view them? I can make them large enough so
that they could be printed and viewed as cards... or
I can just make pairs that could be viewed on the monitor.
But, how can they be viewed? Is there a special
optical thing-a-ma-jig that can be held against
the screen?
Thanks,
Jim Hemenway
