Well, Ole, they were provoking enough for you to respond to, otherwise
you would not have bothered!
>>>>Eric Goldstein wrote: the relationship between focus and the
perception of depth if one exists....<<<<

stereophotography.<<<<
Well, we could do that for any of the topics presented for discussion
here, couldn't we? Then we could just shut down the list and wouldn't
have to worry about checking e-mail for the next exciting installation!
>>>>Eric Goldstein wrote: how sharp is sharp....<<<<
>>>>OLE HANSEN wrote: That depends on camera and film.<<<<
I thought sharpness and DOF were related in the particular topic we were
discussing. We weren't discussing equipment (which will affect sharpness
in a different way).
>>>>Eric Goldstein wrote: ...a selective focus image that shows depth
and my answer is that is it irrelevant to me!<<<<
>>>>OLE HANSEN wrote: That is your way of looking at the problem, but
why do you then take an interest in stereophotography?<<<<
Eric is entitled to express his opinion or preference (or lack of). That
is what this forum is about. The exchange of ideas, facts, and opinions.
He's here. He's discussing. Looks like he's interested to me!

of your nowledge.<<<<
You don't have to be impressed at all, but you also don't have to be
rude.
>>>>Eric Goldstein wrote: We are, after all, all colleagues in our
pursuite of improved skills and teachers to each other in this
endeavor....<<<<
>>>>OLE HANSEN wrote: I doubt that - You do not seem to have the chance

I have yet to meet anyone that knows it all, only those who think they
do, and Eric has never come across as one of those.

by your posting.<<<<
Obviously, at least in the respect department. What is the problem, Ole?
This is an open forum for discussion. You don't have to agree with
everything said. You don't even have to participate in the discussions.
But why do you insist on being so blunt and rude? I don't recall seeing
this in your postings in the past. So skip the stuff you don't agree
with, or the stuff that doesn't *provoke* you, or better yet, start a
topic you have great interest in sharing or discussing.
