P3D Re: Interesting yet frustratin problem (HELP!)
Hi Jay!
I am a bit confused about this story... How did Zak install a PC
cord? Why didn't you just use the Reel-3d adapter for the Realist?
How can you try the flash on the Realist hot shoe with the PC
cord installed?
If you are sure that the flash works and the Realist hot shoe works
then there is only one thing that cannot work: The PC cord!

No. That's impossible.
I recommend that you check the connection of the PC cord with a
meter to see if the contact is made when the camera fires. Set
the camera at B or T. There is should be a contact made while
the shutter is ON. If your meter does not have a continuity
tester, just measure the resistance when the shutter is ON.
Poke around and see which connection fails. (If you don't have
a meter, use the flash. Put two wires in the contacts. When
the wires are shorted, the flash fires).
