Rolland,

You might want to get on the Medium Format 3D mailing list. I'm sure
some of the other participants will also reply to you too. For the 
most part, viewers etc are set up for 6x6 slides because of the 
interoccular limitations and the necessity of cropping to overcome
parallax. If you shot horizontal, you would have plenty of room to
crop left and right which could be great for close-ups. Have a look

a couple of the other pages just for general information. This is NOT
the FAQ, just general info on some aspects.
