P3D Stereo Cards at Photokina

The German photo extravaganza Photokina is taking place this week.  For
many years those of us who work in the Classic Stereo Format - Stereo
Cards- have hoped to gain an inroad into this exhibition.  And in 1998 it
is finally a fact.  Klaus Kemper, Chairman of the 1st ISU International
Stereo Card Exhibition, to be held in Lindau Germany next September, is
spending 5 days at  Photokina to introduce stereo cards to that segment
of the photo population.  His table is sponsored by the ISU and he wrote
me that he is getting all sorts of inquiries and questions.

This is not a simple "drive across town and park" project for Klaus.  He
lives in Nideggen which is a two hour trip, including a train change,
from Cologne.  So he is putting in a full day to advertise as he wrote
"our thing-Stereo Cards".

He is supposed to send me a couple of stereo cards from Photokina and I
am looking forward to viewing them.
