Okay jokes aside, my guess is the median age is FORTY! Yep,
I'm serious now. :-) I got into 3-D at the tender young age
of ~7 years of age with my first viewmaster. What really
impressed me more though was a mediocre 3-D cartoon card set
with a cheap plastic open viewer. There were a couple of stereo
pairs per card that were fed through the viewer from top to
bottom. I was more fascinated by this I think, because it was
more magical to see 3-D images materialize from flat cardboard
in an open viewer, rather than reels inserted into a voluminous
VM viewer. My young mind reasoned that of course the image had
depth in the VM viewer since the viewer had a lot of volume
to begin with. I don't know if this makes any sense to you
adults! :-)
