P3D Re : Nimslo repair

|Anyone out there capable (or wanting to, which may not be the same) of
|fixing a Nimslo that has a shutter that won't work? It is supposedly the
|UK version, and the electronics do work, although only sometimes. That
|part I did figure out.   Jay

 I bought a Nimslo from the stereoscopic society auction 18 months ago.
It had a sticking shutter (slight movement when fired - but not enough
to register an image on film) and corroded batteries.

I cleaned up the battery compartment with a rubber (eraser outside the UK
:-) )
on the end of a pencil, and took the base off the camera and blasted it with
some canned air - this suprisingly sorted the shutter out.

Not very scientific but it worked for me !
