P3D Wirgin
Greetings;
I came across a Wirgin stereo camera in a shop today. Lenses read 'Steinheil
Munchen Cassar 1:35/35mm 1069755.' It seems to work, is in close to VG
condition, has a nice case. Would someone please comment on the camera's
value, and level of quality? Thanks!
Re list demographics, I'm also 1952 vintage.
I became fascinated with 3d with the Tru-Vue (card system) my brothers and I
received one Christmas, but we later became VM fans. (The Buck Rogers packet
was my favorite, and I still like the diaramas best.) I guess we eventually
destroyed our reels and viewers and my folks never replaced them. Anyway, it
was nearly 30 years later before I rediscovered VM. Then antique stereoviews.
More recently (thanks to some Dr. T guidance) Photo 3d and how to make my own
stereo slides (VM and Realist).
