I would say that it depends on your audience, your screen size and your
tolerance for horizontal alignment shifts.

Who's going to be watching?  For public displays in front of an audience
of strangers, I would recommend the Ektagraphics to give them the best
possible experience of stereo (that is, minimize the possible eyeball
twisting).

The smaller the screen, the less significant the possible alignment
changes become.

If it's just you and your family and friends in your house on a 60-inch
screen, you might not even notice the slight shifts.

That said, the Ektagraphics are not that much more expensive than
Carousels and are often available on the used market if your budget is
tight.
