P3D My first SSA Folio

At NSA 98 I joined the SSA in order to participate in at least one of 
the stereo slide folios. I was a bit aprehensive at first for two 
reasons: 1) I wasn't sure I had a large enough "portfolio" of slides to 
draw from and 2) I wasn't sure I was even "good" enough to be 
sharing slides with some of the recognized "legends" of stereo 
photography. I went ahead and joined because I thought this was 
like having a child - if you wait until you think you are ready you will 
never have one *{;-)

I just received, viewed, commented on, and sent on my first one. It 
was round 5 of the Gamma Folio. There are 21 members in this 
folio representing a vary diverse group in all aspects: age, location, 
cameras and films used, subject matter, etc. I am very happy that I 
joined and my only regret is that I didn't join sooner.

I beleive this is a good way to judge your slides without having to 
enter a competition. There is a lot of valuable information to be 
gained and shared in this type of environment.

If you are currently participating in a folio I would highly suggest 
that you do, you won't be sorry.
