Well, you're assuming that, I'm not.  :-)

Don't want to.  I already bid the most I'm willing to pay.
If I didn't do that then I'm just a dummy for not having
used the proxy mechanism to my advantage (just as I would be
a dummy at a live auction for taking too much time to
decide that I wanted to increase my bid, but the item's auction
is over).
