I think the operative word here is EFFECT. Not true Stereo, but an optical
illusion, I think this is another example. You think you see stereo but it
has to be something else entirely. I think you are seeing something that
does not exist and the brain is adding something. Like those spinning
spirals in black and white that seem to show colors, or those interesting
sound effects that appear to rise in pitch continuously and for ever, but
do not.
