P3D Those 3D commercials

Tuned in late today to a show that airs on the SciFi Channel, and is repeated
on a couple of other stations like USA later in the week. What I just missed
was apparently a very short segment about how they make those commercials
where the action freezes and the camera seems to move around objects in 3D -
don't recall what the process is called, but the final examples were excellent
- like freezing the image of someone breaking a plate of glass over a guy's
head, and the camera rotating around the head as the glass shards were about
to drop off. Really good stuff! Must try to tape this, and I'd advise everyone
else to see it.
