Here's my original post from April 13th.
I think the price may have gone up since then.

The C6260-67700 ScanJet Slide Adapter is available from HP's parts
department at 1-800-227-8164. The price is only $5.50 plus tax,
which includes free shipping. I ordered two for a total of $11.66
