here is a recap. There had been several posts on Iloca 7Ps.
I purchased an original Iloca 7p camera off ebay recently which was
supposed to be Ex++ and recently serviced.

I then tried and
tried to get a roll of film through but the sharp sprocket would just
chew up the film. I even had instructions with Pipers hints on cutting
the leader and careful film advancing. Luckilly the seller agreed to
take it back, saying that he was selling it for a friend and took his
word on its condition. But I just couldn't figure out if modern films
can actually go through these cameras. It almost looked like the film
sprockets had to be larger or spaced differently.

I have successfully used my Iloca I with modern film. The trick is to have a
l-o-o-o-n-g half width leader, The film has to be wound forwards over the
teeth of the sprocket. You CANNOT drop the film in over the sprocket.
I don't particularly like the lens quality of the lenses, and if you strip the
camera right down, you can actually see the way that they splice two bodies
from mono cameras.
In fact, I own an example of the mono camera that was used (good for spare
parts in the future, perhaps?). The lens barrels are longer on the stereo
version, but the similarity is quite obvious.
