What would you think if YOU were running eBay?  I don't know that it's
so much the price, so much as using Ebay as a source of making money
without ebay getting a "finders fee" for having found that buyer for 
the seller.  Finding buyers for sellers *is* Ebay's business and
source of income.

Would you have found that customer without using the facilities of Ebay
(which they have there to make money as their business)?

Alternatively, post it for sale on Ebay, then when the $45 is hit,
terminate the auction prematurely (which the seller is allowed to 
do) and sell it to the bidder.

P.S.  - Yes, pictures DO help a *LOT*.  That's primarily the reason I bought
        the cheap Fuji digital camera that I did.
