First of all, let's give credit where it is due. The "famous" phantogram
that started all this (my interest in, and subsequent production of two
recent nude phantograms) was produced by Achim Bahr of Duesseldorf,
Germany, and graces the cover of a recent issue of "Stereoscopy," the
official organ of the International Stereoscopic Union. It is a phantogram
of a stereo camera, and it is quite a nice image, indeed, now that I have
finally had a chance to look at it (a local collector has a copy of the
mag.).

Mr. Bahr's creation inspired my own work in this very unusual format,
resulting in two phantograms produced over the past two months. If
anything, these prints would be more properly described as notorious (as
opposed to famous).

One is arguably quite unique, being a life-size nude figure: it is a large
(3x7 feet) print that rests on the floor, and when viewed with 3-d glasses
projects a full life-size three dimensional image of my model onto the
surface of the paper. The other is a 1/4 scale phantogram print of the
same model (but not the same pose), which was sold recently in a limited
quantity on sell-3d.

Now listen everyone (and there are a number of you who now have the image
of my phantogram), this is very important: the agreement I have with my
model prohibits publication of her images on the internet. I cannot
publish the image on the internet, and I hope none of you will undertake to
do this. Mr. Paravidino may be curious about this image - I suspect that
many more people may in time develop an interest in this image! At this
point I cannot help them, I am sorry. The image shall remain with me and
with the few people who have purchased the phantograms, the stereo slide
sets, or whatever. BUT NONE OF THESE IMAGES BETTER SHOW UP ON THE NET!

Thank you very much for bearing with me on this matter. I am really
flattered and appreciate all of the interest, but the images have to stay
off the net. For those who are interested in phantograms in general, the
image on the cover of Stereoscopy may be available on the net somewhere.

Thanks again,

Boris
