P3D Holiday Viewers

Well, I just assembled about 20 or so 1/2 frame viewer pairs of holiday
shots of my neighbors homes. Each neighbor on my street will receive a
stereo view of their home displaying holiday lighting. I will include a
small card and a very brief instruction to hold the viewer to a direct
light source etc. Perhaps I will generate some 3-d interest in the
neighborhood. The best shots were exposed 100 ISO F8 between 25-45
seconds. This allowed a brighter image for a steal-the-light viewer and
added a nice soft halo effect to most of the lighting. One or two shots
appeared overexposed and I was able to correct them using my gel-filter
technique. :-)
The Realist images were cut down with a 1/2 frame cutter. Although the
image is smaller, the ability to adjust occular spacing is an advantage
over the Reel 3-D cheapie viewer......as I make the viewers out of
single 1/2 frame viewers and pair them using a flex hinge. I expect all
my neighbors to easily view the images. I am curious to see if anyone
approaches me, or writes etc. to inquire about the stereo effect. I will
post reactions after the holidays. Have a great holiday everyone!!!
