P3D 3-D or not 3-D ?

Hi all,
I recently got a great SLR. I was afraid to do this because I hadn't
taken any 2d pictures in about 6 years since I got into 3-D. I
thought, well, if I get a fancy SLR I may get so into the bells and
whistles that I wouldn't want to use my all manual 3-D cameras any more.
Of course I got the SLR for a few reasons:
Macro stereo (I already have a slide bar, and I picked up extension
tubes)
2d B/W prints of the models I am using so that I can keep all of the
3-D slides (besides most prefer prints)
Hypers
But I realised one other good reason for having a good SLR,.... Some
things just don't look great in 3-D.
I have many 3-D slide pairs that I hate because the main subject is to
far, and I never take scenics with my Reverre do to the aspect ratio,
as well as objects looking to flat.
Well, I can tell you that I love many of the bells and whistles in my
SLR. But so far I have shot 4 rolls in it, 1 B/W neg 2d, and 3 rolls
of Slides all macro stereo. I have taken my favorite stereo pictures
of my toys with this camera!
It is a Cannon Eos Ellan 2E. The coolest function (which doesn't
always work well with stereo, but can be turned off) is the eye
controlled auto focus. ALso I can shoot timed shots up to 30 seconds.
So if you are looking into getting an SLR for macro stereo on a slide
bar, I totally recomend this camera.
