***** I shouldn't have to tell you about this again. I explained quite
fully in direct communication with you. The problem is the use of the embed
tag. It limits access to JPS images exclusively to users of
DepthCharge/Win9x. VRex has chosen to not tell people about alternate
methods and the result is either NO image at all and a link to VRex, or
garbled text instead of pictures for non-Windows visitors, or those using
3D-Pix (Oregon, USA) from NuVision, or visiting with Win95 and NO plug-in.
The fact is that DC by itself does NOT REQUIRE the use of the embed tag.
However, they try to encourage you to use the tag because it forces web
traffic to their website.

***** The JPS images on this web site are available to anyone, they are
spectacular and large. Your ISP seems to definitely be aware of the JPS mime
type. I had no problems accessing your JPS images with the direct JPS links.
The *DepthCharged* link on the other hand leads to a gigantic blank page
with a *click for plug-in* notice. Somehow the arragement of information in
the embed tag is unable to realize that I have a plug-in for this file type
that is already installed and operational in my browser. The only time I
would use the embed tag would be if it recognized *any installed plug-in for
JPS* and uses it without further hassle. A visitor should ONLY have to go
get a plug-in if they don't have one. Since it can't recognize this fact,
and wants me to specifically visit VRex for a second plug-in, I cannot get
interested in use of this tag.
