Perhaps the best thing to do would be to borrow each one of 
these cameras, keep it for a week and shoot a couple of rolls.  
This might be the final test.... Is this possible?

I hope you do not count me in this category.  Also, the wording
is a bit strong: "extreme dislike"?  How about "a preference"?

Usually it works the other way around... Exposure to it, gets 
people desensitized.  That's why it is usually beginners in
stereo who point to these effects.  I have mentioned my reaction
when I first saw a Realist portrait projected.  I freaked out!
Then I got used to it and was surprised that others (not used
to stereo) were able to pick it up.  Until I started using the
S1.  Now I can see stretch in a viewer when I compare Realist 
with RBT S1 portraits.
