Once again I just thought I would point out that there is no letter "L"
following the second letter "A" in the word anaglyph.

Though the anaglyph uses complementary colors for stereographic display,
most dictionaries make no reference to its use of color.  For example, the
Random House College Dictionary defines it as follows:

an-a-glyph n. an ornament sculptured or embossed in low relief, as a cameo
(Gk. anaglyph(os) wrought in low relief).
