P3D NSA in the Twin Cities at 2002?

I don't mean to squelch your excitement George, but Cleveland is not the
only city that
Mary Ann is wooing as a possible site for the 2002 NSA convention.

NSA members in the beautiful twin cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul
have already joined
forces and formed a planning committee to locate the ideal site, within
our fair state, for the 2002 convention. Unlike Ohio, who has hosted
several NSA conventions in the past, Minnesota has yet to have had that
pleasure, and we are excited that our land of ten thousand lakes is
being considered for such an honor. We are confident that our state
offers an abundance of amenities for the wandering stereographer and
their family. Our biggest difficulty is deciding which activities to
exclude because there just isn't enough time to do it all!

I am glad to see that Mary Ann is actively reminding the stereo groups
in the central states that 2002 is not that far away, and that prime
convention sites are booked several years in advance. Anyone thinking of
hosting the convention had better start organizing now before its too
late. Its a lot of work organizing a convention, but the rewards are
plenty.

I hope that the selection committee has a tough time picking a site,
because there are too many good locations to choose from.

Tom Martin
member of the Twin Cities NSA 2002 Convention Planning Committee
