P3D Stereo sound in stereo shows

So, should I sing too when I show my slides in a viewer? :-)

(Nahhhh... I'll spare you the torture!)

We have hard enough time mounting slides for projection... Do we
want to also have the (lack of) stereo sound stop us from projecting 
our work to the public? (unless of course if this is something we 
can easily handle and we enjoy)

I remember in the Rochester NSA convention, something was wrong
with the sound system during the projection of Koehler's 
anamorphic/panoramic show and Bob started talking about the 
location and challenges in some of these shots.  I found
the live narration very interesting.  But, soon enough the
background music was restored and Bob stopped narrating.  I felt 
that something was taken away from the show from that point forward.
