Wow!  This is getting more and more exciting by the minute! :-)
I wish I could make it!  And, yes, I would have my camera ready

On the barrier discussion, Boris you are one step away from proposing
print film and View-Magic viewers.  Why bother with slides in the first
place?  Prints are much more user-friendly and familiar to novices.
Yes, this is a good entry system.  For starters.  Why starters?
This is the nature of the beast.  Most people start somewhere and then
move to different directions.  Maybe View-Magic and prints, then 35 mm
and slides, then Medium Format.  Every system is an entry point to our
hobby.  No barriers!  Just bridges... I agree with that concept.
