Instead of "3d photographic film equipment" wouldn't 
"3d equipment" be shorter and have the same content?
I think a little too much thought went into selecting the
name and writing the chapter for this new list.  :-)<

I assumed that the self-conscious reference to "film" was a sort of
snobbish snub of anything computer-related. I've made my opinion known in
the past that all these compartmentalized little tangent lists add nothing
and severely weaken the learning potential of the main list. I belong the
the technical list, for instance, and every week or so when I get a digest
with one or two tiny little messages, I wonder just why it was so vitally
necessary to segregate this paltry little dollop from the rest of the list,
and just how the subscribers to the main list would be compromised by being
exposed to this information.
