P3D 3D reference on tv

I'd figured someone would've mentioned this earlier; on Fox's 'Futurama', a
scene took place in a movie theater on a robot planet with the film 'It
Came From Planet Earth' in 3D.  The robot cast was terrorized by a monster
'human' (an unconvincingly made-up robot).  The film segments showed
virtually no 'jumping-out-of-the-screen-in-your-face' shots (except for one
pointing-out-at-the-audience shot).  They were, 1000 years in the future,
still using anaglyph glasses.  Leela, the cycloptic alien girl, was
shifting the glasses around over her one eye and saying 'I'm not getting
it'.  So far there's been three gags on the show regarding her inability to
grasp the 3D thing...I'm waiting for them to pull out a ViewMaster...
