P3D Tabletop question

Using my SLR and slide bar, I want to photograph small toys (palm size).
I do not own photographic lighting equipment. I plan to use my TDC 116
to project colored backlighting on a piece of diffuser type material. I
have 2 halogen 500w work lamps that I can use to bounce front fill. What
color temperature is halogen lighting? (I don't want to use flash) I
will probably shoot Sensia or Velvia film. Will halogen lighting produce
a green or orange cast using these films? Thanks.          Mark Dottle
