I'd like to put in a plug for Alan's viewer here. With its
large-diameter achromatic lenses; bright, even fluorescent lightsource,
and all-mahogany construction, this viewer is both pretty and
functional. It even smells good! :-)
Alan heard my plea for something better than a Franka, and delivered in
spades. With the supplied adapters, it will accommodate either separate
2x2's, or 41x101mm Realist mounts (but not at the same time). Even with
eyeglasses, I can see completely across the field of a standard 35mm
slide with this viewer.
Highly recommended (and much less expensive than the de Wijs Comby
viewer).
