This has nothing to do with prints, but I found some
translucent polyethylene parts boxes having 20
compartments, each of which nicely holds up to a full frame
35 mm chip. Cutting all the chips from a roll in one fell
swoop, I start with the end, emulsion side up, seeing the
scenes as they appeared, and wind up using three boxes
for a Realist roll, two for a 7p format roll. With a largish
light table, I can then preview any pair in stereo using a
Peak stereo magnifier (two simple lenses with an
adjustable interocular spacing). The horizontal spacing of
the pairs in these boxes is only about 43 mm, but for
making mounting decisions, it's fine.
