P3D Re: Previewing Print Pairs

Not, it is not "very accurate". The previewing focal length is very
different than the viewing focal length. Stretch is "stretched".
Sharpness cannot be estimated/appreciated. To give you an analogy
with slides, I can cross-view an unmounted roll of Realist slides
in a few seconds. Is this a very accurate way to predict which
slides will look the best in a red button viewer? No! It is
terribly inaccurate! A waste of time really.

I will give you an example that I am sure you will understand. Can
you determine "very accurately" succesful *projection* results by
viewing slides in a halogenized red button viewer? From our numerous
discussions on this *after* club stereo slide competitions, I think
you will agree with me that you cannot.
