P3D Stolen RBT cameras
I dont like to bear bad news...but periodically I will post this message to P3D/S3D and I appreciate all readers understanding this. Please note that three RBT stereo cameras were stolen from my shipment to the US, which arrived from Germany , July 1st. Unlike the other cartons with other types of merchandise, the carton that they were in was sliced opened and resealed, one of the inner cartons for the cameras was opened. They were the following models. RBT S1A Hexar 59mm ser # 730 RBT S1A Hexar 59mm ser # 739 RBT X2V2 Ricoh 75mm/with Pentax SMC FA 28-70mm linked lenses Ser #815 Should anyone turn up one of these cameras, any information would be appreciated. These three models are automatically void of warranty and should they surface for repairs or service, or inquirys, they will be repossed by the insurance company who have the legal ownership, and the right to reclaim them. So beware if you are offered an RBT camera, or see one for sale, check the serial number with me first. It is a great setback for us at 3D Concepts, not so much from the financial end of it (insured!) but I regret to say the customers who have waited so long will now have to wait longer due to this setback. Special thanks to John Roll and Dwight Cummings for generously allowing me to display their RBT S1's at NSA in Green Bay....and to Bill Howell for the use of his X2V2 as well for that purpose.
