Like Mark - I have both a "brushed aluminum" and a lenticular screen. The
alum screen is a Da-Lite Silver King (at *least* 35 years old). It's
interesting because some of the silver/aluminum particles have fallen
off and are sort of like sand caught in the bottom of the screen roll
case (Mark's posting reminded me of that).

I also have a lenticular screen - but the lenticular pattern is so
large (vertical) that I find it distracting, so I tend to use
the Aluminum screen instead. The lenticular is definitely brighter
(in a narrow range), but the alum screen give a "smoother" image...

I understand that later lenticular screens have/had a smaller
ridge size on them so the pattern isn't as obvious.
