P3D 3D Satelite found

Hi,

My friend in Montreal found the 3D Satelite feed and can tape them directly
into PAL for me.

Question is; will the 3-D effect be lost in the conversion. It's a high end
panasonic W1 system but still VHS.

Does anyone in the UK have the appropriate glasses or can suggest where to
get them cheaply?
