At least analglyph 3D on DVD won't be half as bad it is on VHS.
Field-sequential would have been my preference as well though.

At least it isn't as bad as one of the 3D movies they are currently
marketing on VHS: The Mask.
Let's hope that this will start a new momentum to getting old 3D movies
onto consumer formats (specifically DVD).
