Hi Bob,

There are some tricks you can use regardless of the type of scanner you
use. Of course, that variable will have a bearing on your final product,
but I am sure you can get reasonable results with a minimal amount of
effort no matter what. I was intrigued by, and really enjoyed the
following site that someone shared on this list a month or so ago:

I highly recommend it. I learned a few things, and have shared it with
various others already.
