Well, gee, George, some of us just acquired a bunch of cameras over the
years. Perhaps one got a Realist, then stumbled on an opportunity for a
Wollensack, then found a cheap Kodak at a garage sale, and so on. By
serendipity, one acquires a bunch of cameras, why not use them? These
cameras aren't so different to be confusing, no more than the difference
between a 1950 Chevy and a 1978 Toyota.
I'd rather lug a Realist into the Grand Canyon than a Wollensack,
because the Realist would be less of a loss if it got destroyed or lost.
But I'd rather shoot with the Wollensack, because it's lenses are better
(than the 3.5, anyway) and it has faster shutter speeds, etc.
If you like cars, would you get all the same model? You're a father
George--did you clone eight kids, or take what came along? ;-) This
situation might be different if many stereo cameras were in production
today, but since we're using antiques, most of us take what we can get.
