Ye...this is true...with the RBT MACRO, you open the apertures before
firing the camera/MACRO in sync...so you can fully see your subject in the
actual focus and field of view.  Furthermore, but not absolutely necessary
IMHO...you can compose in stereo.
Ask others like Dave Stukey or John Roll for opinions, but I myself find
the RBT MACRO , despite its complex and imposing looks, to be remarkably
easy to use.  From installing it, which is as easy as putting a lens on
your camera, tu actually operating it.
