P3D Hayride

There seems to be some confusion how and when I saw Dr T's S1 shot for
the first time but I remember it was the image called " hayride". I
believe he may have showed it to me in Pittsburgh ( albion mount) or I
saw it in Cleveland before a competition. But I made the comment that
this image was NOT taken with a Realist. This sparked a later challenge
for me to choose the S1 images from a group of approx 10 images. I
believe I was correct to identify which camera in 6 out of 10 images. I
concluded that I certainly could not guess correctly 100% of the time (
and considering the "test" images were specially selected beforehand)
but that I could easily determine the differences by reviewing entire
filmstrips from both cameras. Dr T still disagrees....and I do not have
the time and resources to search the archives for the dozens of postings
expressing his opinions about the optical superiority of S1 lenses.
But for my purposes Dr T says " the differences are all in my head"
....................Perhaps someone would like to compile T's raves
about the Hexar lenses and we could kindly reassure him that the
differences are in his head also.:-)
