P3D Golfing Stereo Cards

Today was Media Day at the Buick Challenge Golf Tournament in nearby
Callaway Gardens.  I attended representing a local paper that I cover
this event for.  I always take a few stereo cards of golfers and a
stereoscope with me so I can perhaps get some cards autographed.  I
showed last year's champion Steve Elkington his stereo card using my
trusty Keystone Training Stereoscope.  He really liked the image and said
"What a great idea. How long have people been making these sort of 3-D
images?'  I told him about 145 years.  Then he asked "Does anyone in
Australia do this sort of photography?" (He is from Australia)  I told
him there are at least three people in Australia that make stereo cards,
Joan Stenson, Allan Griffin and Ray Moxom. He wanted to know if there had
been stereo cards made years ago of famous golfers and I told him yes but
they are very rare.  Who knows we may have a new stereo card collector on
the PGA tour.?
