I have done some and hope to do more in the future.  Like P.J. Homer who
also responded, I want to do stereos of minerals fluorescing in ultraviolet
light (so far, I've done a few with little preparation and the results
reflect that!).

Why do you ask?  If you're looking for information on techniques, you
should see Jeff Scovil's book published about 1996.  It even mentions
stereo photography.  Sorry I don't have it at hand to check the title or
the spelling of his name.
