I hope you aren't actually trimming *ALL* the image data that
isn't shared. I've seen others make this mistake, and I worry
about list readers picking up on this statement as proper
technique. Remember the "Rule of Three Ls" appies to digital
stereoscopy just as it does with stereo slides or stereocards.
"The Left sees Less on the Left*." That is, the left eye should
see less of the scene on the left edge (of the left image). That's
exactly the way it is when you look through a real window. If you
don't recreate this situation with your photos or images, there
will be window problems for your viewers.
* Assuming all objects are at or behind the stereo window
