I had one where the coatings were damaged ... a kind of "spattered"
effect as though some corrosive liquid had been splashed on them
and had eaten through the coating.
The viewer only cost me $5 though and I replaced the lenses with
the Wollensaks from Dr.T, gave it a general overhaul per Dr T's
book and it's a super viewer now.
