Charles,

the Nord Stereo Projector is a fairly simple projector, very square-
looking, almost like a huge brick ... It also heats up the slides 
considerably.

It's a nice piece to have in a collection ... but not the best one to use. 
Usually, they tend to be relatively cheap.
