Gary,

How would you feel about being able to control the FED shutter
and diaphragm manually, albeit still programmed? My first look
inside the camera, following my brother's suggestions, convinces
me this wouldn't be too hard to do. Exposure would be manually
variable from 1/30 at f/2.8 to the other end of the FED's scale--
about 1/600 second at f/16. This would be done by mounting a small
shaft near the meter movement and attaching a needle to it which
would extend into the slot currently occupied by the meter needle.
I think it might be possible for them to be in the slot at the
same time. Then moving the manual needle by turning a knob
attached to the shaft outside the camera would control exposure.

I certainly do like the 7-perf format for yearbook work.
