P3D Re: Teach Cheap?

Bruce worte about his experience starting in stereo with a View Magic
system and cheap disposable cameras.

For me, my first stereo experience was shooting with a Realist camera.
A Realist 3.5 and a $3 viewer. These were the simple happy days for
me. With the "sunny day rule" or a cheap $20 light meter all the
pictures were sharp and well exposed. EMDE mounts made correct
mounting a snap.

In the not-so-far future digital cameras will make stereo experimentation
much easier. The cost of camera and computer is not low but prices are
dropping and many people now have access to both without having to buy
them. There is no film or processing cost involved. Ideal for a
learning/teaching tool IMO.
