Remember the architect with the glass church model? I arrived with the
X4 ( the placebo) and the SLR/slidebar. While setting up the SLR he
yells " wait a minute!! I cannot allow you to take pictures for any
other purpose than what we discussed!! " I proceeded to explain the
slidebar technique. He waived his hands using the NFL incomplete pass
signal and stated  " I can do this myself! Why did you show me that
other camera before?!! Heck....I'll do it myself!" 
I politely offered him a general tutorial, sources for slidebars and
viewers etc. I left without a red cent! Today he showed me his failed
attempts and asked if I would be willing to supervise him ( using his
equipment) to take the shots. I politely refused and offered additional
sources of stereo information. He asked me to reconsider but I said I
was sorry again and declined. He asked why? I said " If I broke your
model, would you accept the fact that I would offer to glue the broken
glass back together?"
"The whole thing is ruined" . He got the picture.
