Alan has reported a spacing problem that the other RBT owners/users on this
list either do not experience or do not notice. I would like to suggest that
this may be the 1 in a 1000 (or 100,000 or 1,000,000, whatever RBT's
tolerance is) that is a genuine factory defect.

Alan asks, why not make it right? I am tempted to say, they usually do.
Every manufacturer will occassionally screw one up. They used to tell you to
buy two Harleys, one to ride & one to fix...(note the past tense: today, HD
makes some of the finest products in the world). "Zero Defects" is an
elusive dream that most manufacturers chase daily.

Although this may not be the correct forum, I'd like to hear Jon Golden's
feelings on this.
